Liauningius robustus

Taxonomy
Chironomaptera robustus was named by Lin (1976). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is AAI5b, Dachengzi, Kazuo, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Liauningius.

It was recombined as Liauningius robustus by Hong (1982).
