Taxonomy
Cyphastrea aliceae was named by Bromfield (2013). It is not extant. Its type locality is Malasait PNG3.3, New Britain, which is in a Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm rudstone in the Yalam Formation of Papua New Guinea.
