Taxonomy
Symphyllia densium was named by Bromfield (2013). It is not extant. Its type locality is Toto, ISS3.1, Salayar Island, which is in a Pleistocene reef, buildup or bioherm framestone/floatstone in the Salayar Formation of Indonesia.
