Taxonomy
Prelissorhynchia xui was named by Chen and Shi (1999). Its type specimen is USNM 456064 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Banzhuyuan Section, Nantong County, which is in a Changhsingian marine limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
