Taxonomy
Permotermopsis roseni was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is PIN 2334/335, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 2334), which is in a Roadian lagoonal sandstone in the Sheimo-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Permotermopsis.
