Taxonomy
Phyloblatta grosjeani was named by Laurentiaux (1950). Its type specimen is MGL 12602, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bassin d'Alès, Bed XIII of Molières, which is in a Stephanian A terrestrial siliciclastic in France.
It was recombined as Xenoblatta grosjeani by Schneider (1978) and Schneider (1983).
