Taxonomy
Plenoentactinia terespongia was named by Takahashi (2014). Its type specimen is TGU 8719 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KC02-10, Ky Cung River section, which is in a Smithian slope limestone in the Bac Thuy Formation of Vietnam.
