Taxonomy
Ctenobactrites lesliensis was named by Mapes (1979). Its type specimen is SUI 43705 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ARC-07, Trace Creek, which is in a Pendleian offshore shale in the Fayetteville Formation of Arkansas.
