Promourlonia durhamensis
Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria durhamensis was named by Whiteaves (1884). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Durham, Billings Localities, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone/dolomite in the Guelph Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Eotomaria durhamensis by Clarke and Ruedemann (1903); it was recombined as Promourlonia durhamensis by Wagner (2023).
