Taxonomy
Euomphalus orinini was named by Wenjukov (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Orynin, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone in the Bagovitsa Formation of Ukraine.

It was recombined as Pachystrophia orinini by Wagner (2023).
