Dusa longipes
Taxonomy
Palaeodusa longipes was named by Pinna (1974). Its type specimen is MCSNB 3422, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cene, Seriana Valley, which is in an Alaunian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Zorzino Limestone Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Palaeodusa.
It was recombined as Dusa longipes by Garassino et al. (1996) and Schweitzer et al. (2010).
