Taxonomy
Emanuella was named by Grabau (1923) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-u D Fras-u Sepkoski's reference number: 24,25,1215]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Ambocoeliidae by Savage and Baxter (1995); to Spiriferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Rhynchospiriferinae by Goldman and Mitchell (1990) and Williams et al. (2006).
