Chlamys sespensis

Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) sespensis was named by Arnold (1906). Its type specimen is California State Mining Bureau 12480, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tar Creek, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in California.

It was recombined as Chlamys sespensis by Moore (1984).
