Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) bartschi was named by Arnold (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 164841, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pecten (Pecten) bartschi by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Chlamys bartschi by Moore (1984).
