Leochlamys erici
Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) erici was named by Wiedey (1928). Its type specimen is SDSNH 27, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU loc. 406, South Mountain, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Vaqueros Formation of California.
It was recombined as Leochlamys erici by Moore (1984).
