Omma zitteli

Taxonomy
Procarabus zitteli was named by Oppenheim (1888). Its type specimen is BSPG AS V 24, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Solnhofen (BSPGM Munich coll), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Omma zitteli by Ponomarenko (1971), Kirejtshuk (2020) and Escalona et al. (2020).
