Turutanovia karatavica

Taxonomy
Turutanovia karatavica was named by Becker-Migdisova (1949). Its type specimen is PIN 2335/25, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2335), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
