Alkenia mirabilis
Taxonomy
Alkenia mirabilis was named by Størmer (1970). Its type specimen is SMF 26029, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Alken #3, Nellen Koepfchen Beds, Germany, which is in an Emsian lagoonal shale in Germany. It is the type species of Alkenia.
