Dissup irae
Taxonomy
Eremonomus irae was named by Kovalev (1989). Its type specimen is PIN 1742/186, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Turga (PIN collection 1742), which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Turga Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Dissup, Eremonomus.
It was recombined as Dissup irae by Evenhuis (1994), Nagatomi and Yang (1998) and Grimaldi and Barden (2016).
