Gnophomyia gentilinii

Taxonomy
Gnophomyia gentilinii was named by Krzemiński and Krzemińska (1990). Its type specimen is MCSN IG24525, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Monte Bolca (MCSN Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Pesciara Formation of Italy.
