Tupandactylus navigans
Taxonomy
Tapejara navigans was named by Frey et al. (2003). Its type specimen is SMNK PAL 2344, a skull, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nova Olinda quarries, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone/mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Ingridia navigans by Unwin and Martill (2007); it was recombined as Tupandactylus navigans by Andres et al. (2014).
