Eupatagus calistoides
Taxonomy
Eupatagus calistoides was named by Sanchez-Roig (1953). Its type specimen is Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 770, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loma Calisto, Nuevitas, which is in an Eocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.
It was synonymized subjectively with Eupatagus turibacoensis by Kier (1984).
