Taxonomy
Eupatagus (Plagiobrissus) ocalanus was named by Cooke (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taylor County rock pit, which is in a Priabonian marine limestone in the Ocala Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Eupatagus ocalanus by Sanchez-Roig (1953).
