Taxonomy
Microdoma longum was named by Mazaev (1997). Its type specimen is PM RAS 4471/16/2, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 016. Quarry near Georgievo village, which is in a Rusavkian carbonate limestone in the Rusavkino Formation of the Russian Federation.
