Taxonomy
Scutigerella baltica was named by Scheller (2004). Its type specimen is SMNS BB-2382, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Staatliches Museum fur Naturkunde (SMNS) collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
