Arbia aldrichi
Taxonomy
Coelopleurus aldrichi was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915) [attributed to Clark only]. Its type specimen is USNM 559494, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Perdue Hill [Suwannee Fm], which is in an Oligocene marine marl in the Byram Marl Formation of Alabama.
It was recombined as Arbacia aldrichi by Cooke (1941); it was recombined as Arbia aldrichi by Cooke (1959) and Kier (1997).
