Eileticus anthracinus
Taxonomy
Eileticus anthracinus was named by Scudder (1882). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (Worthen collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Eileticus.
