Taxonomy
Cyclaster drewryensis was named by Cooke (1942). Its type specimen is USNM 372880, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 10026 - Drewry [Red Bluff Clay], which is in a Rupelian marine limestone in the Red Bluff Clay Formation of Alabama.
