Fortunella monsalvensis
Taxonomy
Rhynchonella monsalvensis was named by Gillieron (1873). Its type specimen is MGL 40826, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sous-Planière near Châtel-St. Denis, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in Switzerland.
It was recombined as Lacunosella monsalvensis by Wisniewska (1932); it was recombined as Fortunella monsalvensis by Sulser and Calzada (1991).
