Fortunella fastigata
Taxonomy
Rhynchonella fastigata was named by Gillieron (1873). Its type specimen is MGL 4055, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sous-Planière near Châtel-St. Denis, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in Switzerland.
It was recombined as Lacunosella fastigata by Makridin (1964); it was recombined as Fortunella fastigata by Sulser and Calzada (1991).
