Taxonomy
Manlayamyia dabeigouensis was named by Zhang (1991). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lahaigou, Luanping County (Shandong Prov. Mus. collection), which is in a Hauterivian lacustrine mudstone in the Dabeigou Formation of China.
