Taxonomy
Bucania makatikhae was named by Jakowlew (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kamenka River, Donetz Basin, which is in a Vereian carbonate limestone in the Kamenka Formation of Ukraine.
It was recombined as Retispira makatikhae by Wagner (2023).
