Taxonomy
Glyptarca primaeva was named by Hicks (1873). Its type specimen is Sedgwick Museum A16706-7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Side of Ogof HĂȘn, Ramsey Island, which is in a Moridunian coastal mudstone in the Ogof Hen Formation of the United Kingdom.
