Hoffeinsmyia enigmatica
Taxonomy
Hoffeinsmyia enigmatica was named by Michelsen (2009). Its type specimen is Hoffeins 790, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Hoffeins/Deutsches Entomologische Institut collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Hoffeinsmyia.
