Reticularia was named as a genus. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Reticulariidae, Reticulariinae.

It was reranked as Spirifer (Reticularia) by Schellwien (1900).

It was assigned to Spirifer by Schellwien (1900); to Spiriferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Reticulariinae by Williams et al. (2006).
