Notocupes laiyangensis

Taxonomy
Forticupes laiyangensis was named by Hong and Wang (1990). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is 84GHYD, Huangyadi, Muyudianxiang, Laiyang City, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Laiyang Formation of China.

It was recombined as Zygadenia laiyangensis by Kirejtshuk (2020); it was recombined as Notocupes laiyangensis by Strelnikova and Yan (2023) and Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
