Yuxiania jurassica
Taxonomy
Yuxiania jurassica was named by Hong (1997). Its type specimen is Beijing Natural History Museum HW90/1, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is BP-15, Yuxian County, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Houcheng Formation of China. It is the type species of Yuxiania.
