Platygonus marplatensis
Taxonomy
Platygonus marplatensis was named by Reig (1952). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is First point north of Barranca de los Lobos, level III-IV, which is in a Chapadmalalan terrestrial horizon in the Chapadmalal Formation of Argentina.
