Ansorgius praedicta
Taxonomy
Ansorgia praedicta was named by Krzemiński and Lukashevich (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/114, an exoskeleton (male fly), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Ansorgius, Ansorgia.
It was recombined as Ansorgius praedicta by Krzemiński (1994).
