Plecia dubia

Taxonomy
Phthiria dubia was named by Germar (1837). Its type specimen is STIPB A 595, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Orsberg (Goldfuss Bonn collection), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Bibio dubius by Evenhuis (1994); it was recombined as Plecia dubia by Skartveit and Wedmann (2021).
