Metatelmatherium cristatum
Taxonomy
Metatelmatherium cristatum was named by Granger and Gregory (1938). Its type specimen is AMNH 26411, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Irdin Manha Beds (1930 AMNH Eudinoceras site), which is in an Irdinmanhan terrestrial horizon in China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Metatelmatherium ultimum by Mihlbachler (2008).
