Taxonomy
Pararhoptrocera moravica was named by Prokop and Nel (2005). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Studlov amber, eastern Moravia, which is in a Paleocene/Eocene terrestrial amber in the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Pararhoptrocera.
