Emplastus miocenicus
Taxonomy
Emplastus miocenicus was named by Dlussky and Putyatina (2014). Its type specimen is NHMW 1852.XXIX.32, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (NHMW Wien Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
