Formica parexsecta

Taxonomy
Formica parexsecta was named by Dlussky and Putyatina (2014). Its type specimen is GBA 2009/016/0355, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Geologischen Bundesanstalt Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
