Gyrophioceras morganense

Taxonomy
Paracaloceras (Gyrophioceras) morganense was named by Taylor (1998). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25036, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Graylock section, P. morganense assemblage, which is in an Angulata marine limestone in the Graylock Formation of Oregon.

It was recombined as Paracaloceras morganense by Taylor (1998); it was recombined as Gyrophioceras morganense by Taylor and Guex (2002) and Longridge et al. (2008).
