Taxonomy
Dissoria bretti was named by Feldman et al. (2001). Its type specimen is NHM 1035 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Subunit 45, Matmor Formation, Hamakhtesh Hagadol, Israel, which is in a Callovian deep subtidal shelf limestone in the Matmor Formation of Israel.
