Taxonomy
Boubeithyris tibourrensis was named by Middlemiss (1980). Its type specimen is Gentil Collection specimen no. S.548/2/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Butte de Tibourr'm, Gentil Collection, which is in a Barremian deep subtidal shelf marl/limestone in Morocco.
