Taxonomy
Pericyclus (Goniocyclus) antelopensis was named by Gordon (1986). Its type specimen is USNM 377544, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 27544-PC, which is in a Kinderhookian/Ivorian marine horizon in the Davis Spring Formation of Nevada.
