Taxonomy
Bilinguites eliasi was named by Manger and Saunders (1980). Its type specimen is UA 77-218-41, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caddo Village, Locality 297, which is in a Morrowan shallow subtidal grainstone in the Golf Course Formation of Oklahoma.
