Taxonomy
Kalentera lawsi was named by Taylor and Guex (2002). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25484 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ferguson Hill, section e, bed 28, which is in a Planorbis marine limestone in the Gabbs Formation of Nevada.
